Connect

Connect AI to Your Data

inomi speaks MCP, the open standard for giving an AI assistant tools. Add one address, sign in, and your assistant can read your health data.

Claude

One connector serves Claude on the web, the desktop app and your phone. No tokens to copy, no extensions to install.

Add the inomi connector

In Claude (on the web or in the desktop app):

  • Go to Settings → Connectors
  • Click Add custom connector
  • Fill in the fields:
Nameinomi
Remote MCP server URLhttps://mcp.staging.inomi.health

Click Add, then Connect.

Your browser opens inomi's sign-in. Enter your email and the code we send you, then click Allow to let Claude read your dossiers, and those shared with you.

Allow the read tools

So Claude does not ask before every look:

  • In Settings → Connectors, find inomi
  • Click Configure
  • Under Read-only tools, select Always allow

Claude still asks before it writes anything into a dossier.

Test

Start a new conversation and try:

List my available dossiers.

You should see your dossier(s). On your phone the connector is already there: same account, same connection.

Claude Code

Claude Code connects to the same address from your terminal.

Add the server

claude mcp add --transport http inomi https://mcp.staging.inomi.health

In Claude Code, type /mcp, choose inomi and Authenticate. Your browser opens inomi's sign-in; enter your email and the code, then click Allow.

Test

Ask Claude Code to list your dossiers. You should see your dossier(s).

Scripts

Your own programs can use inomi like any other MCP client.

Use an MCP client library

The official MCP SDKs handle the sign-in for you. Point the client at https://mcp.staging.inomi.health; it registers itself, opens your browser for sign-in, and keeps its access fresh. Sign-in runs over OAuth 2.1 with PKCE, and the redirect may go to http://localhost.

Same tools, same rules

A script gets the same tools as Claude and sees only the dossiers you may see. Documents and other opinions unlock only after it has read raw data in the same session. See the tool list.
