inomi for Claude
inomi gives Claude direct access to your health data for independent medical analysis. Imaging, labs, genome and 26 data categories, through a single MCP connector.
What it does
inomi connects Claude to your personal health records stored on the inomi platform. Claude can browse your medical imaging (MRI, CT, X-ray), review lab results over time, look up genome variants, and read clinical documents — forming its own independent medical opinions from the raw data rather than echoing prior assessments.
Key capabilities:
- Medical imaging — View DICOM slices with adjustable window/level, navigate series via contact sheets
- Lab results — Look up results by LOINC code and follow them across draws
- Genome — Search variants by gene or rsID
- Clinical documents — Read uploaded documents with their extracted text, author and date
- 26 data categories — Medications, diagnoses, surgeries, vitals, family history, and more
1. Connect. Add the connector as described on Connect.
2. Sign in. Enter your email and verify with the code sent to your inbox. No password needed.
3. Allow. Review the access request and click Allow to let Claude read your dossiers, and those shared with you.
4. Start asking. Claude finds your dossiers and their data by itself. Ask about your labs, imaging, genome, or any health topic.
Claude reads opinions — documents, diagnoses, consultations, assessments, notes — only after it has looked at raw data (imaging, labs, vitals or genome) in the same conversation. Every opinion comes with its author and date, as someone's reading rather than fact.
Available tools
| Tool | Description |
|---|---|
list_dossiers | List the dossiers your account can read |
list_categories | See which data categories a dossier has |
list_entries | Walk a dossier's data, or look up labs by LOINC code, variants by gene or rsID, vitals by metric |
fetch_image | Fetch an imaging slice as PNG with adjustable window/level |
fetch_contact_sheet | Thumbnail grid for navigating an imaging series |
fetch_document | Read a document's text with its metadata, or its English translation |
get_version | Server version information |
create_entry | Add an entry (a note, assessment, symptom, vital…) to a dossier you may write to |
Every tool but create_entry only reads. What Claude writes is marked as Claude's, and Claude asks you before it writes.
Examples
"Review my CBC over the past year. Are there any concerning patterns?"
Claude looks up the blood counts by LOINC code, compares the values across draws, and points out what changed and when.
"Look at my brain MRI. Walk me through what you see."
Claude lists the imaging studies, opens a contact sheet of the series to find its way, then fetches individual slices at full resolution. It describes anatomy, signal and any visible findings — its own read, before it looks at anyone else's.
"Which of my genetic variants could affect how I process medications?"
Claude looks up variants in the drug-metabolism genes (CYP2D6, CYP2C19, CYP3A4 and others) and explains what they mean for specific medication classes.
Security & privacy
- Encryption — All data encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM, FIPS 140-3)
- OAuth 2.1 — Authorization code flow with PKCE, no passwords at all
- Access checked on every read — Claude sees only the dossiers you may see
- Short-lived tokens — Access tokens expire in an hour, refresh tokens rotate on use
